Welcome to Cathartic Connections Theatre Page.
Cathartic Connections is a small theatre ensemble based in Edinburgh. It is made up of eight theatre students from Queen Margaret University.
Last year the company took a play to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival called Pale Moon written and directed by the ensembles founder Andrew Henry. The show was a success by all accounts with high audience numbers and successful reviews. Roger Cox from The Scotsman highlighted the company’s “penetrating writing and highly effective passages of physical theatre, rich in symbolism...speaks volumes without saying a word.” (Cox 2010)
This year Edinburgh’s newest resident theatre company returns to the Fringe with a new show at the prestigious Space on the Bridge at the Carlton Hotel.
